DESIGN
MICROMAX CANVAS 2plus looks exactly as the MICROMAX CANVAS 2 .Micromax has not done any improvement in design of Micromax canvas 2plus from the canvas2.Micromax canvas 2 plus also have 5 inch display and 3 capacitive touch buttons in the front panel.The key placement of this device is also good ,talking about key placement ,on left side we have the volume rockers,on the right it has power/lock bottom,on top side it has 3.5mm audio slot together with a USB slot.Voice reception mic is placed at the bottom and noise cancellation mic is placed on the top side which ensure the voice clarity of this device.Their is chrome lining provided on the sides of this device which looks pretty nice and gives a premium look for this device.The back pannel is given a mat finish which provide good grip when you hold device in hand. Even though the design have no plus points from the micromax canvas 2,the phone still look really nice and impressive.

Micromax Canvas 2 plus comes with the same display used in micromax cavas 2 .It comes with 5 inch IPS diplay with a resolution of 480X854 pixels.The pixel density of the device is kept 196 ppi which is higher than the close competitor the SAMSUNG GALAXY Grand .The display of this device is really good ,since it is an IPS display the pictures seems consistent and accurate color from all viewing angles.The high brightness and the good contrast ratio makes this device ideal for outdoor usage also.
CAMERA
Micromax Canvas 2 plus comes with a 8 mega pixel camera ,and can take pictures at a resolution of 3264x2448 pixels.Micromax Canvas 2 plus also supports HD video recording at 1280*720pixels(720p) which is an important upgrade from the Micromax canvas 2.The features like Auto focus,Dual LED flash,Face Detection,Touch Focus,Geo-Tagging improves the camera performance of this device.Unfortunately Micromax canvas 2 plus doesn't support smile detection which is the only thing i found bad about the camera of this device.overall we can expect the camera performance as same as of the micromax canvas 2 ,except the fact that micromax canvas 2plus support HD video recording.Going to the secondary camera of this device we can see its updated to a 2MP which was VGA in CANVAS 2.This update really improves the video calling experience of the canvas 2 plus.overall we can say that the camera of Micromax Canvas 2 plus is one of the factors which make it stand out from the canvas 2.
OPERATING SYSTEM
Micromax has not done much customization with the os.Micromax Canvas 2 plus comes with Android OS v4.2 (Jelly Bean) which is the most recent android update.The multitasking capabilities of this device also excellent as it has a heavy hardware to support.The jelly bean runs very smooth and responsive which enables this device to capable of handling any high processing task effortlessly.
HARDWARE
Micromax has provided some of the best hardwares for this device.Micromax Canvas 2 plus comes with an exceptional 1.2GHZ Quad core processor and the PowerVR SGX544 GPU which ensures seamless high end gaming .The ram of this device is 1GB which is the best possible for the price of this device.the internal memory of this device is kept 4GB which is same for the canvas 2.Eventhough this device is using quad core processor it actually consumes much less power than the dual core processor of canvas 2.Hence the battery back up of this device better than the canvas 2 even though both uses same battery of 2000mAh Li-Ion.Micromax Canvas 2 plus also comes with an update to the bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP which enables faster transferring of data.
