DESIGN

SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8 is the smartphone which offers Mega-Sized Portability for the user .It has a huge 5.8inch display with  dimensions of 162.6 x 82.4 x 9 mm (6.40 x 3.24 x 0.35 in)
 .The design ,key placement and built quality of this device is just like the Galaxy Mega 6.3.The front panel have 2 capacitive keys and a hard key,going to the left side of the device  we could find the volume rocker placed  ergonomically.Lock button is provided on the right side,on bottom they have the USB slot ,  3.5mm jack & Noice cancellation microphone is placed on the top side of the device.Overall the design looks premium and follows the usual samsung design features it looks similar to other samsung devices ,samsung has managed to decrease the weight of this device to 182g which is lighter than SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 6.3. 
   

DISPLAY

SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8 comes with a 5.8inch TFT display with lower pixel density of 190 ppi.The display of SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8 is capable of handling a HD resolution of 540X 960 pixels which really compliments the display quality 5.8inch screen , a little bit higher pixel density would have made the display much better,the pixel density of 190ppi provide good display quality for this device .The viewing angles of this device is also exceptional,the ultra bright display and good contrast ratio makes it ideal for outdoor usage also.The large display size of  SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8  makes it a perfect choice for multimedia games or HD videos playback.

SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8  come with a 8 magapixel camera capable of capturing pictures at high resolution of  3264x2448 pixels.The feature like Auto focus,LEDflash,Face & Smile Detection,Geo-Tagging,Touch focus, panorama make this device one of the best camera in smartphones.The  8MP camera is capable of  taking videos at 1080p@30fps ensure the high quality video output of this device.The picture quality of this device is extremely good & well focused in our test.The quick startup  and low shutter lag  makes the camera highly responsive ,deliver an effortless experience.
 The secondary front camera of this device is kept 1.9MP which performs really well in both indoor and out door conditions and enhances the video calling experience of this device .

SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8 powered with a  Dual-core 1.4 GHZ   processor together with best in class  Broadcom VideoCore IV GPU makes the SAMSUNG GALAXY Mega 5.8  a very good  multimedia device  .it has got a 1.5GB RAM which really adds up to the performance of this device.In our bechmarking test with Nenamark 2  the device scored  58.8fps  which shows that this device can handle any thing from full hd videos  to high end mulmedia games very smoothly .The internal memory of the device comes with a choice of 8GB  ,with an micro SD expansion slot 64GB. The bluetooth version of this device is bluetooth 4.0 . The device is  provided  with a 2600mAh battery which  suits for the power requirement of this device .
