Now a days the pace of technology advancement in smartphone industry has increased drastically, every day a new technology emerges out,and to keep track with the the latest one 1000s of smartphone are thrown to trash every day.since every one can't afford the expenses of buying a new smartphone ,lot of people get held up behind.
Project Ara opens a new window to the world of customizable smartphones, which gives the consumer the ultimate "freedom" to choose what they want in their smartphones.what happens is that people often upgrade their smartphone to get 30% of the money spend on what they really want and rest 70% wasted to some upgrades that doesn't really matters to them or they already have them in the previous one.
In the process of development of the new concept ,Motorola has seeked suggestions from the Phonebloks which also shares the vision of modular phone concept. Now the Motorola project group is working with Dave Hakkens, creator of phoneblock, on the "endoskeleton' and modules, which includes the phone's CPU ,external battery ,and the interface between them.
The next big challenge for the developers will be the development of a software which can incorporate these hardware and can accommodate any changes in the hardware without of much trouble to the user.
The Project Ara has already created great enthusiasm between the geeks around the world, and we expect this new concept will help to bring the technology more accessible to the consumers.
