It seems the much hyped finger print scanner of galaxy s5 can be fooled and bypassed by an “fingerprint spoof” (an artificial print created from wood glue and a photo of a latent fingerprint taken with a regular smartphone camera). The iphone 5 finger print sensors is also easy to fool like samsung but iphone 5 will get locked after a few unsuccessful attempts while it’s easy with Galaxy S5 as it let you try again and again.
For normal unlocking of the device this might not be much problem but lately third-party apps like PayPal use the fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy S5 to secure payments which makes this finger print spoofing a bigger issue for the users.
