DESIGN
Micromox Canvas Entice A105 is a Dual sim budget device which sports 5inch LCD IPS display. It seems that micromax has put some effort in design of this device as it look neat and premium.
Talking about the key placements of the volume and lock/unlock keys are embedded into the detachable back panel like what they have in canvas colours ,as usual micromax has provided 3 capacitive buttons on the front panel, the volume rockers is placed on right hand side of the device ,the lock/unlock key is placed at the left hand side. The back panel fells very premium and they have give brushed metallic finish with a very glossy surface ,which reminds of canvas 4 which also had similiar back pannel finish.Overall the device was able to provide a premium looks which is great for this budget price.
DISPLAY
Micromox Canvas Entice A105 sports a 5inch LCD IPS display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels with a pixel density of 187ppi.The display seemed very vibrant but the viewing angle were not so good, obviously we cant expect a high viewing angle from a budget device ,overall the display performance was nice and is capable of competing with any device in this price range.
CAMERA
We have tested the response of the primary camera and found it very responsive but it takes little time to get focused but it will make sure you wont get out of focus image .The secondary camera is VGA fixed focus delivers a decent quality video output .
HARDWARE
Micromox Canvas Entice A105 comes with little lower specs for its price, micromax has implemented a Broadcom chipset in this device the device rather than mediatek processor we normally see in micromax devices.Talking about the processor of the device it sports 1.2 GHz Quad-core Broadcom BCM23550 coupled with 512MB of RAM.The Broadcom BCM23550 sports a Video Core IV which will deliver decent multimedia performance for this device. In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 47.2fps which is little less compared to other devices in this price range ,but despite of having lower score the device was able to playback both 720p and 1080p videos very smoothly. The device has 4GB of internal storage out of which 0.93GB is user available. In case of RAM out of 512MB,only 172MB is user available. The device also sports a micro SD card slot which can support a maximum of 32GB.
The other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0,USB v2.0 ,wifi,3G(HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps). Micromox Canvas Entice A105 also comes with 1900mAH battery which can deliver upto 5Hrs of talktime.
