Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT Unboxing ,Review and Benchmarks

DESIGN

Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT is a Dual sim budget device  from Samsung with a price tag of Rs.7,200 .The device sports 4inch TFT display and overall look of the device is the typical samsung design with the same silver lining on the sides and glossy back panel.

Talking about the key placements of  the the device as usual samsung has provided  2 capacitive buttons and one hard key on the front panel,the lock/unlock key is placed on right hand side of the device, while the volume rockers are placed on left hand side .As i already pointed out that the   back panel is very glossy and does attract lot of  finger print  .The sim card slots are placed below the battery  with WCDMA  support for sim1 . Overall look and feel of the device is feels was average and i will give a 5.5 out of 10.

DISPLAY

Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT  sports a 4inch TFT display with a resolution of  480 x 800 pixels with a pixel density of 233ppi.The display seemed very vibrant but the viewing angle were not so  great in this device, the display quality is not uniform from all angle as you could see the display quality from the right hand side is the worst .so for display quality i will give a score of 5.5 out of 10.

CAMERA

Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT  camera department sports a 3MP Fixed focus primary camera and doen't have any front facing shooter. The 3MP primary camera is Fixed  focus and can take pictures at a maximum resolution of  2592 x 1944 pixels, the  video recording is 480p.

The biggest demerit of the device is the fixed focus 3MP camera and the device takes picture with limited details since it lacks the Auto or touch focus.Considering all these fact i could only give a rating of 3.5 out of 10

HARDWARE

Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT  comes with the little older generation processor. The device sports 1.2 GHz Single-core processor  coupled with 512MB of RAM .In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 40.3fps which is very low score in this segment .The device supports 720p video playbacks, while 1080p videos cant be played which is a big disadvantege for the hardware of the device  .The device has 4GB of internal storage out of which  2.02GB is user available. In case of RAM out of 512MB, 230MB is user available . The device also sports a micro SD card slot which can support a maximum of 32GB.

The other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0,USB v2.0 ,wifi,3G(HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps).  The device sports 1500mAH battery

Overall considering the device hardware i would rate it at 3.5 out of 10.
