Gionee is all set to launch its latest flagship Gionee Elife S7 in India with specifications which include 5.2inch Full HD display,Octa core SoC & 4G LTE conectivity.Gionee has scheduled an official launch event on April 4 which will reveal more details on pricing of the device in india. It seems Gionee had focused more on design and power saving features which is very evident from the spec sheet below.
The new Gionee Elife S7 will sport a 5.2inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080pixels and 424ppi pixel density.The display also uses ACL tech, which promises to reduce power usage by 25%. There's also a Dark theme, which further drops power draw by 30% compared to the default theme.Elife S7 is only 5.5mm thick with a grooved sides, something Gionee calls a U-shaped skeleton which is made of aviation-grade alloy and features a stainless steel sheet with nano-molding plastic.Elife S7 also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection which adds to the durability of the device.
Gionee Elife S7 will be powered by 64bit 1.7GHz Octa-core Mediatek MT6752 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The Mediatek MT6752 is a Octa core ARM cortex A53 based chipset and sports Mali-T760 which will ensure high end gaming and multimedia performance.A new Sensor Hub (courtesy of Freescale) has been integrated into the chipset to collect sensor data, so that the CPU has to wake up 20% less often and do that itself. Gionee Elife S7 also comes with 16GB internal memory which is not expandable via micro SD card .The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 ,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n( dual band, hotspot), GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB , GPRS/ EDGE, 3G & 4G LTE.The Elife S7 also boasts a larger speaker than its competition, which is powered by NXP for a 50% boost in volume accompanied by DTS audio enhancement.
The camera department sports 13MP Auto focus primary camera with LED Flash and 8MP front facing shooter .Both primary and secondary camera will supports 1080p HD video recording.The device will run on Android OS, v5.0.x (Lollipop) with Amigo OS 3.0 on the top and will have 2750mAh battery.
