Samsung Galalxy S6 Active the rugged variant of flagship has officially announced by the AT & T with a price tag totaling 695USD and will be available from June 12 . Galaxy S6 Active is water and dust-proof, and as rumored before the S6 Active will come with MIL-STD-810G certification as well, which will add salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active will sports a 5.1inch QHD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, 576ppi pixel density . It will be powered by 64Bit Octa core Qualcomm Exynos 7420 processor coupled with 3GB variants .The Exynos 7420 has both cortex A53 and Cortex-A57 in big.LITTLE architecture with Mali-T760 MP8 GPU@ 772 MHz which will ensure great gaming and multimedia performance.The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also comes with 32GB internal memory but doesn't support microSD card expansion.The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.1,A2DP,LE, apt-X,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB , GPRS/ EDGE, 3G & 4G LTE
The camera department will sports 16MP Auto focus primary camera with LED Flash and a 5MP front facing shooter .The device runs on Android Lollipop with TouchWiz UI on the top and will have 3500mAh non removable battery .The battery department also sport features like Ultra Power Saving Mode (disables almost all functions, but gives hold 10% charge per day), fast charge (50% in 30 minutes) and wireless charging (compatible back cover is already on the device, charger included).
