Lenovo A2010 is the latest budget offering from lenovo and is currently sold exclusively through Flipkart(in India) at a price tag of Rs.4,990. Lenovo also claims it to be the cheapest 4G smartphone in the subcontinent . Eventhough Lenovo A2010 is in the budget segment Lenovo has provided pretty decent specs for the price and in this review we will be analyzing each one of them in detail .
DESIGN
DESIGN
As i already mentioned the Lenovo A2010 is a budget device ,hence Lenovo has not done much in terms of design but it certainly doesn't look cheap or ugly. Lenovo A2010 is 4.5inch display device with 131.5 x 66.5 x 9.9 mm dimensions and weighs 137g, so it is definitely not that thin but due to the comfortable 4.5inch form factor and curved edges the device feels very comfortable to hold in hand.
Talking about the key placements on the front panel of Lenovo A2010 houses 2MP front camera, a 4.5inch display and 3 capacitive buttons. The lock/unlock key and volume rockers are provided on the right hand of the device while the left hand side is left completely blank. The 3.5mm audio slot and USB 2.0 port are provide at the top, while the voice reception mic is placed at bottom. The back panel is provided with polished finish (not very glossy) but attracts finger print. The device also comes with removable 2000mAh battery.

CAMERA
Lenovo A2010 sports a 5MP Fixed focus primary camera with LED flash and 2MP fixed focus front facing shooter. The 5MP primary camera supports HDR ,smile detection, zero shutter lag, voice capture, face detection,Auto scene detection and can take pictures at a maximum resolution of 2592 х 1944 pixels. Primary camera is capable of 720p video recording and supports modes like Live photo ,Motion tracking,Beautification,Panorama. The 2MP secondary camera supports only upto 480p video recording features face detection and support modes like Beautification,Panorama, Multi angle view.
HARDWARE & SOFTWARE
We have tested the response of the primary camera ,it had small delay(about 1sec) in capturing the image, but by turning on the zero shutter lag mode i could capture quite instantly as normal camera. The color reproduction were not accurate and ,due to the lack of auto focus or touch focus the images were low on details. So overall i would say the camera department is definitely not a strength of the device.
Lenovo A2010 comes with 1GHz Quad-core Mediatek MT6735M coupled with 1GB of RAM. Mediatek MT6735M is a cotex A53 core based processor and sports a Mali-T720GPU which delivers decent gaming performance for the device. In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 57.2fps which is a great score for a budget smartphone . When it comes to antutu Benchmark ,it scored 20709 in the Antutu v5.7, which is also a good score considering the price. It was able to play both 720p and 1080p videos (from SDcard)but had little buffering while skipping through videos.
Lenovo A2010 has 8GB of internal storage out of which approx 3.44GB is user available, which is allocated as phone memory and since its is unified the user will get 3.44GB for installation of apps. In case of RAM out of 1GB, 529MB is user available. Lenovo A2010 also support sports a micro SD card expansion upto 32GB. Lenovo has provided only two sensors the Accelerometer and Proximity which is little disappointing.
