A new generation of Galaxy A8 ,the Samsung Galaxy A8(Japanese variant) has made its official in Japan.It is a powerful smartphone with incredibly thin Metallic build, at just 6mm and is equipped with super-narrow border technology(the width of only about 2.5mm) ,which provides it with incredibly thin bezel.
Samsung Galaxy A8 will have metal unibody design as the other A series smartphones.It will sport a 5.7inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and pixel density of 386ppi and Corninig Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
Samsung Galaxy A8 will be powered by 64-bit Octa core Exynos 7420 processor (more powerful than previous generation Snapdragon 615) couple with 2GB RAM. Exynos 7410 is a combination of cortex A53 and cortex A57 cores in big little Archetecture (Cortex-A57@2.1GHz +Cortex-A53@1.5GHz) and will sport Mali-T760 GPU . It will also have a 32GB internal memory with provision for expansion with microSD card upto 128GB.The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP ,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB , GPRS/ EDGE,NFC(LTE model only), 3G HSDPA 42 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps & 4G LTE. It also comes with fingerprint scanner integrated into the home button, for enhanced security and ensures easy access.
The camera department of Samsung Galaxy A8 will sport 16MP Auto focus primary camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing shooter both will support 1080p video recording.Galaxy A8 will run on Android 5 Lollipop with TouchWiz UI on the top and will have 3050mAH battery.
Because it is specific for the Japanese market ,the operators added some unique features, such as Japan's unique ISDB-T mobile digital TV reception. It also supports Bluetooth 4.1 and NFC near field communication capabilities. The new generation Galaxy A8 will be available in three color choices, white, gold, and black ,while it will go on sale in mid December in Japan, but now the price has not been announced.
