For last couple of months there has been lot of leaks and rumors regarding the upcoming Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL smartphones which will unveil on October 9 and recently the search giant has officially released several teaser that indicating different features of Google Pixel 3 series smartphones. Now today promotional brochures from the UK carrier EE for the next gen Pixel smartphones has been leaked that contains few information which were previously unknown.
Recall early Google has released an official teaser on its twitter account which reveals that the next Pixel smartphones will have a new Super Selfie mode, and now the latest promotional brochure documents shows the same feature but under a different name “Top Shot.” According to the brochure the Top Shot feature will be used to capture the best possible images in each scenario by searching for “smiles, not blinks” with the help of AI, and it is also claimed that this will helps to take group selfies with a super wide-angle lens (without a selfie stick).
The brochure documents also reveals about the Active Edge which is used to activate the Google Assistant, as well as the Google Lens. There is also a new feature mentioned in the brochure which seems to be an option of flipping the Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL over in order to turn off all notifications, and according to XDA Developers, this latest Do Not Disturb feature will be marketed as “Flip to Shhh.” On a separate page, the brochure also glimpse about the new Chromecast and Google Home Hub. Even though the brochure does not reveal any information regarding its pricing, but it do claims that Google will begin shipping Pixel 3 or Pixel 3 XL smartphones on October 22, and this date seems to exclusive to the UK or EE.
