It's merely four days left for the official unveiling of the Huawei's upcoming Mate 20 series smartphone which is scheduled on October 16 in London and recently we saw multiple render images of its premium Mate 20 Pro which reconfirmed it's design from all angles. Now today the popular leakster WinFuture has revealed almost everything regarding the Mate 20 Pro.
According to the leaksters the important aspect about the Mate 20 Pro design is the rear triple camera module and they suggest that the smartphone will have the same 40MP main sensor with aperture f/1.8, much like the P20 Pro, but there will be a new technology called “FusionMind” which will combine four pixels into one and provide significantly better quality images in low-light scenarios. The Mate 20 Pro will also include a telephoto camera and from the previous generation the company may increase its resolution from 8MP to 20MP with aperture f/2.4, moreover, the new lens is also expected to supports 5x optical zoom rather than 3x. The last one will be a new 8MP camera with a new wide-angle lens which will replace the previous monochrome sensor. With the combination of all these camera sensors the Mate 20 Pro will permit ultra-macro images that allow its users to take images from a distance of just 2.5cm while on the front the company is expected to use a 24MP camera for selfies.
Apart from the camera department the Mate 20 Pro will feature a 6.39-inch OLED display with Quad HD+ resolution and that has an aspect ratio 19.5:9. The smartphone seems to be having notched display design with dual edges on either side, similar to the Samsung galaxy flagship, while the bottom will have a slightly thick bezel. There will be a new 3D facial recognition technology that makes use of a Vertical Surface Emitting Laser (VSEL) and an in-display fingerprint scanner for maximum security.
Huawei has already confirmed that the Mate 20 Pro will be powered by the new Kirin 980 processor ( clocked at 2.6GHz) coupled with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM (8GB RAM will also be sold in certain market only) and 128GB/ 256GB/512GB of internal storage which can be expandable via 256GB nanoSD cards developed by Huawei. The devices will run on the latest Android 9 Pie with the new EMUI 9.0 , and will pack a 4200mAh battery with support for a new 40W fast charging dubbed as SuperCharge 2.0 which will permit a 70% charge in just 30 minutes.
The new Huawei Mate 20 Pro may also arrive with a IP68 rating and it will have connectivity features such as NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and Gigabit WLAN with dual-band support. As per the previous renders, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro will be available in four colors options such as black, blue, Twilight, and a new green option. The smartphone is expected to be priced around $1100 US dollar and the shipments are set to begin in either early November or the very end of October.
