It's just few days ago we reported that the upcoming flagship smartphone from OnePlus, the OnePlus 6T has been spotted on Geekbench listing which confirmed the early leaked specifications (here). Now today, OnePlus has posted some interesting information regarding the OnePlus 6T in the company's official forum revealing details about the new OxygenOS UI, improved camera and additional navigation gestures.
In the official forum the OnePlus has quoted that they want to express the OnePlus design language in the new OnePlus 6T UI, and making this the most distinct and intuitive version of OxygenOS yet. Which means, the OnePlus 6T will debut a new UI for OxygenOS with improved gestures that will make the device to run smoother than past OnePlus handsets. The new navigation gestures are expected to have features such as swipe up in an app to make it follow the users finger, the users can also swap between two recent apps by making a quick flick from the bottom of the screen toward the right of the screen.
The forum further revealed that the OnePlus 6T will bring a gesture to open Google Assistant by holding the home button for 0.5 seconds. With Snapdragon 845 processor and the AI-based algorithm the device will learn the sleeping pattern of it users and ultimately helps in reducing the power usage, there’s also an “advanced Do Not Disturb mode” based on the similar AI analysis. OnePlus has also claimed that they have tested the new gestures around 1000 times and there will be no navigation bar, since the company want to encourage everything on gestures which is expected to dominate the world. Apart from this, the OnePlus has also focused to improve its camera department to get better images from the OnePlus 6T's dual back and a single front cameras.
