It's just few days ago we reported that the upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 has been spotted on 3C certification revealing that there will three models of the smartphone this year (here). Now today, the Xiaomi's president, Lin Bin has announced on Weibo that the company will soon launch the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3.
He also state that the device will be incomparable with a whole new concept and may release in October. Xiaomi CEO, Lei Jun also commanded the production teams to speed up the mass production and get ready for huge sales in October. So it is speculated that the Mi Mix 3 may get official on October and the company is all set for a major announcement soon. Recently, a countdown page for the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 appeared on the m.sogou.com website and it revealed that the device will feature a 6.4 inch display.
Previous reports revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with two variants of RAM such as 6GB and 8GB. The smartphone is also reported to have a dedicated AI assistant button for accessing the Xiao AI voice assistant and may arrive with in-display fingerprint sensor. The Mi MIX 3 is speculated to feature a dual rear camera with a 20MP main sensor that will also support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), while there is no info about the secondary sensor.
