DESIGN

XOLO Q800 is the first Q series device form the xolo.At first glace itself the device looks great and feels really good in hand.Build quality of this device is also good ,with the dual tone colour combination the device looks premium  .XOLO Q800 also  have 4.5" inch display  and 3 capacitive touch buttons in the front panel.The key placement of this device is little different from usual android devices. Talking about key placement ,they have provided both power/lock bottom & volume rockers on the right hand side of the device which is convenient for the right handed people but not so good for the left handers ,and on top side it has 3.5mm audio slot together with a USB slot.Both Voice reception and noise cancellation mic is placed at the bottom which ensure the voice clarity of this device.Their is gray lining provided  on the sides of this device which looks pretty nice and gives a premium look for this device.The back pannel is given a rubberized mat finish which  provide good grip when you hold device in hand. so overal the design rating of this device will be 6 of 10

 DISPLAY

XOLO Q800 comes with   4.5 inch IPS  LCD diplay with a  resolution of 540 x 960 pixels.The pixel density of the device is kept 245 ppi which is higher than the close competitor MICROMAX CANVAS 2 Plus .Lava has done a good job by keeping the display resolution and ppi higher  which makes the disply sharp and crisp.Since it is an IPS display the pictures seems consistent and accurate color from all viewing angles.The high brightness and the good  contrast ratio makes this device ideal for outdoor usage also.

CAMERA

XOLO Q800 comes with a 8 mega pixel camera ,and can take pictures at a resolution of  3264x2448 pixels.XOLO Q800 also supports HD video recording at 720p which is a bonus for the device of this price range .The features like Auto focus,  LED flash,Geo-Tagging improves the camera performance of this device..Going to the secondary camera of this device which is a 1MP capable of recording in VGA resolution only. 

OPERATING SYSTEM

XOLO has not done much customization with the os .XOLO Q800 comes with Android OS  v4.1 (Jelly Bean) which is the most recent android update.The multitasking capabilities of this device also excellent as it has a heavy hardware to support.The jelly bean runs very smooth and responsive which enables this device to capable of handling any high processing task effortlessly.

 HARDWARE

XOLO  has provided some of the best hardwares for this device.XOLO Q800 comes with an exceptional 1.2GHZ Quad core CA7 processor and the  PowerVR SGX544 GPU which ensures seamless high end gaming .The ram of this device is kept 1GB which is the best possible for the price of this device.The internal memory of this device is kept 4GB with micro SD expansion slot which can support upto 32GB.The battery this device is of 2000mAh Li-Ion with a good battery back up of 60 hrs (2G)/Upto360hrs(3G)standby,16hrs(2G)/10hrs(3G)talktime.
