HP has launched its new android budget tablet HP 7 Plus this week in the US for $99.99 .The device is listed on the company's online store, but still there is no news about the availability in other regions.
The HP 7 Plus sports a 7-inch WVA IPS display with a low-resolution of 1024x600 pixel and a pixel density of 170ppi. The tablet runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box.
The HP 7 Plus is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Allwinner A31 ARM Cortex-A7 processor clocked at 1GHz, alongside 1GB of DDR3 SDRAM.The GPU of this device is PowerVR SGX544MP2 which is a mid range GPU and will offer pretty decent peformnace for this configuration.The tablet comes with 8GB of eMMC inbuilt storage and is expandable by an additional 32GB via microSD card.
The tablet sports a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options on the HP 7 Plus include Miracast compatible Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB 2.0, and 3.5mm audio jack, while other connectivity options are not yet known.
The HP 7 Plus is backed by a 2800mAh Li-Po battery that is rated to deliver up to 5 hours and 30 minutes of battery life . The tablet measures 7.58x4.8x0.32mm and weighs roughly 300 grams. HP 7 Plus is available only in Silver colour.
