Panasonic has launched the its new smartphone Panasonic P81 at a price tag of Rs.18,990 .The Panasonic P81 is a dual-SIM (GSM+WCDMA) smartphone with dual standby support. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box.
The smartphone sports a 5.5-inch IPS HD display with a resolution 720X1280 pixels and an amazing Retina display density of 312ppi. It is powered by a high performance Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor, clocked at 1.3GHz, that is coupled with 1GB of RAM.The Mediatek MT6582 has a Mali-450 MP4 GPU clocked @700 MHz which will ensure seamless multitasking and gaming performance for this configuration.
The phone runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and offers "Play Life" software features, including a new multi-tasking interface, multi-play dual window operation, the ability to multi-task while watching videos with Pop-i Player and Gesture Play.

The phone is available in Black colour and features a leatherette back cover.
