Instrutions
Before triyingto root your device please do a backup of your original rom,so that you can revert back to it in case you don’t like the newer interface.
Charge your phone’s battery upto 70-80 %.
Follow this Steps to Root Micromax Canvas 4 - A210 :
Step:- 1) ToEnable USB debugging on your device. Go to Settings > Development > USB debugging. Step:- 2) Connect your device to PC/laptop. The drivers will be installed automatically.
Step:-3) Download Rooting tools Mirror ( Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v31 http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1886460) and unzip them in a folder.
Step:-4) Open the extracted folder and Click RunMe.bat.
Step:-5) Follow the onscreen instructions carefully. To start off, You will see Please Enter a valid number (1 to x), you will need to type in a “1″ and press Enter.
Step:-6) Your device will reboot during the process after which you can find SuperSu in you app drawer. Congrats! Now you have a rooted Micromax canvas 4 A210.
After installing super user you have to check whether your device has rooted with Root checker app which can be downloaded from play store....after making sure that your device has been rooted,the next step is to install ClockworkMod Recovery (CWM) in your device..this is important because it grants permission to install custom rom into canvas 4
now follow the steps 1-6 given below to install clockwork mod
Step 1: Download the CWM Recovery click here to download cwm for canvas 4
Step 2: Copy this file in you SD Card and rename it “recovery.img”
Step 3: Download and install "Mobile Uncle Tools" from Play Store
Step 4: Launch Mobile Uncle Tools >>> Grant su permission >>> Tap on Recovery Update.
Step 5: Tap on the recovery.img file that it show, with location SD Card
Step 6: And apply it. It will ask to you for reboot or go to recovery mode.
Select reboot since there is no need to go to recovery mode now...
After installing CWM to your device next step is to install the Micro Note Gold V2 custom rom follow the steps below
Step 1: Download Micro Note Gold V2 rom file from above given link, place it into root folder of external SD card.
Step 2: Switch off your device and enter into Recovery Mode to do so:
- Press and hold “Volume Up + Home + Power button” for a few seconds, until the screen flashes and then release all the buttons.
Step 3: Now, you have perform data wiping task. To do so:
- Select “wipe data/factory reset“, then select “Yes” for confirmation and wait till the data wipe is complete. Now, go to CWM recovery main menu.
- Select “wipe cache partition” and after that, select “Wipe Dalvik Cache” under advance option to perform Dalvik cache wiping.
Step 4: Again come to the CWM recovery main menu from there select “Install zip from sdcard” and give a path where you have placed Micro Note Gold V2 Custom ROM for Micromax Canvas 4 A210.
As you select the installation will start and it will take 3-5 minutes to complete so don’t hesitate let the installation to be completed.
Step 5: Finally, when the installation process is completed.
- Select “++++Go Back++++” and then choose “reboot system” to reboot your phone.
