Samsung Galaxy Note 4 the successor of samsung's Note 3 is in news these days.The rumours about the features and lauchdate are now all over internet.
According to the latest rumours in Note 4 we could expect 5.9inch or even 6inch QHD AMOLED display which is slightly bigger than the 5.7 inch display of Note 3.Although some rumours suggest that note 4 will only have 5.7 inch display ,so we cant say the final word about it now.Also there are rumours that note 4 will be having flexible display and 3D display. However, curved edged display could be the part of this device but Samsung will avoid this in Note series because Samsung will launch separate series Galaxy F for such devices.
The resolution of the display is expected to be 2K ie 1440x2560 pixels but there are rumours that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 would be programmed such that it could adjust it’s resolution automatically ranging upto 4K resolution. It will directly impact the battery life. For as now we could only say that it would be atleast a 2k display.
Under the hood the Galaxy NOTE 4 will have True Octa-core processor on Exynos 64-bit chipset or big.LITTLE 16-core Exynos 64-bit chipset,either of these are enough to provide a high performance premium experience for the user.The Note 4 is also expected to have 20nm 4GB DDR3 DRAM which will bring blazing fast speed to Galaxy Note 4.
There is also rumours that the Note 4 supposedly wield the recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. That's a quad-core Krait 450 chip which can be clocked up to 2.7GHz and has an Andreno 420 GPU.
Galaxy Note 4 is also expected to sport 128GB of internal memory,Samsung has already shown such prototypes of memory modules in 2012 and now the time has come to show the real spark to the world. Next Samsung Note phablet could debut with 128GB on board storage version.
Galaxy Note 4 is expected to sport 21MP ISOCELL rear facing sensor which is expected to have OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).the battery of the device will be of higher capacity of 3600 or 3800mAh either will ensure a good battery back up for the new Note 4.
The Note 4 is expected to sport connectivity options like 4G and Dual channel Wi-Fi capabilities.
The OS of the Note 4 will be the latest version of Android ,It is rumored that the device will be able to recognize personal handwriting to unlock it and perform functions like calling contacts.By September we could well have a new Android version, 4.5 or maybe 5.0 codenamed 'Lolipop' so the hope is that the Galaxy Note 4 will come with the latest software.The Note 4 will be having a new touch wiz of next Galaxy Note 2014 would be completely different, will bring new shortcuts, new gestures, new s-pen functions, in short the interface and its design would be all new.
There are also rumours that Note 4 will have features like 'Swipe to launch Motion Launcher', 'Aqua Capture', 'Multi Network for Booster', and 'Smart Fingerprint' .Aqua Capture resembles the Aqua Mode seen in Galaxy S4 Active handset that would enable users to click images underwater. This hints the Galaxy Note 4 will be more water-resistant than the Galaxy S5 (Review | Pictures).
Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher is another feature under testing that is said to be similar to Motion Launch seen on the HTC One (M8) (Review | Pictures). HTC's Motion Launcher lets users activate camera, wake up the device and do other tasks just by swiping in different directions on the screen.
Smart Fingerprint, as the name suggests, is said to be the modified version of the fingerprint sensor included in the Galaxy S5 smartphone, with additional capabilities. Multi Network for Booster is likely the same as the Download Booster feature on the Galaxy S5, which combines a Wi-Fi and cellular data connection, the report notes.
According to the rumours Samsung Galaxy Note 4 phablet could be announced on September 3. The date isn't surprising given that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was launched on September 4.The report adds that the Korean smartphone maker will start sending invites for the event around mid-August.
There's no leaked information on the Galaxy Note 4 yet and that's not too surprising since we're a few months away from its expected launch. We'll bring you any information as and when we hear it but in our expert opinion it is likely to come in between £550 and £600 – similar to the Galaxy S5.
