Micromax Unite A092 Unboxing ,Review and and Benchmarks

DESIGN

             Micromax Unite A092  is a Dual sim budget device  from micromax with a price tag of Rs.6,300 and is the predecessor of micromax unite 2 which we have seen earlier.The device sports 4inch LCD IPS display and overall look of the device is average.Since the device has only 4 inch display the micromax has provided thick border around the display in font panel  which degraded the look. 

            Talking about the key placements of  the volume and lock/unlock keys are embedded into the detachable back panel like what they have in unite 2 ,as usual micromax has provided  3 capacitive buttons on the front panel,the lock/unlock key is placed on right hand side of the device,while the volume rockers are placed on left hand side .The back panel is coated with thick transparent plastic such that the back panel looks like it is coated with glass layer and is very glossy and does attract lot of  finger print  .Overall look and feel of the device is feels was average and i will give a 5.5 out of 10.

DISPLAY    

               Micromox Unite A092  sports a 4inch LCD IPS display with a resolution of  480 x 800 pixels with a pixel density of 233ppi.The display seemed very vibrant but the viewing angle were not so  great in this device, at some particular angles the display quality degrades considerably.so for display quality i will give a score of 5.5 out of 10

    

CAMERA 

             Micromox Unite A092  camera department sports a 5MP Fixed focus primary camera and VGA front facing shooter.The 5MP primary camera is fixed focus and can take pictures at a maximum resolution of  2592 x 1944 pixels,the  video recording is 720p.

The biggest demerit the device is the fixed focus camera and the device takes picture with limited details since it lacks the Auto or touch focus.Considering all these fact i could only give a rating of 4 out of 10
            

HARDWARE

            Micromox Unite A092  comes with the little older generation processor.The device sports 1.2 GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 MSM8212   coupled with 1GB of RAM.The MSM8212  sports a Adreno 302 GPU is a low profile GPU .In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 57.4fps .The device effortlessly handle both 720p and 1080p videos .The device has 8GB of internal storage out of which  2.17GB is user available.In case of RAM out of 1GB, 565MB is user available . The device also sports a micro SD card slot which can support a maximum of 32GB.

              The other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0,USB v2.0 ,wifi,3G(HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps).Micromax Unite  also comes with 1500mAH battery 

Overall considering the device hardware i would rate it at 6 out of 10.
