HTC Desire 516 is a Dual sim budget device from htc which is priced at about RS.13,900.The device has a dimension of 140 x 72 x 9.7 mm and weighs 160g.HTC Desire 516 sports a 5 inch display and feels very balanced in hand .
Talking about the key placements of the device ,lock/unlock key is placed on right hand side,volume rockers on left ,USB and 3.5mm audio slot on the top side.The back panel of the device has been given a glossy finish which looks great but attract fingerprints.Overall look and feel of the device was great compared to other device in this budget price.

HTC Desire 516 camera department sports a 5MP primary camera and 2MP front facing shooter.The 5MP primary camera can take pictures at a maximum resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels,and can record video in 720p,while the 2MP secondary camera can record video only at 480p.
We have tested the response of the primary camera and found that the device will take approx 2 second delay to focus and capture the image but the images were very precisely focused and had very good colour reproduction.

HARDWARE
HTC Desire 516 comes with descent specifications for the price.The device sports a little older generation of processor(Qualcomm Snapdragon 200)which can be pointed as a disadvantage and i never expected this device to play even 1080p videos but i was amazed to see the actual device was able to play both 720p and 1080p videos effortlessly with out any lag or buffering . The processor of the device 1.2 GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 200 coupled with 1GB of RAM and sports a Adreno 302 GPU .In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 56.2fps which is decent score from this budget device of HTC.The device has 4GB of internal storage out of which 1.69GB is user available.In case of RAM out of 1GB, 548MB is user available which is great to have and will ensure fluid performance of the device . The device also sports a micro SD card slot which can support a maximum of 32GB.
The other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0,USB v2.0(Does not support OTG) ,wifi,3G(HSDPA, 21 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps).HTC Desire 516 also comes with 1950mAH battery which can deliver upto 8Hrs of talktime.
