HTC Butterfly 2 With 5-Inch FHD Display and Snapdragon 801 SoC Launched

                   HTC Butterfly 2 the successor to the HTC Butterfly launched last year has been announced by htc on their official Blog.HTC Butterfly 2 will be available only for south Asian market ,will first made available from September 2 in Taiwan and will be gradually rolled-out to Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand .

                  HTC Butterfly 2  is a Single sim  device and  sports a 5inch Full HD IPS Display with a resolution of   1080x1920 pixels and an amazing pixel density of  440.5ppi .The device is powered by an 2.5GHz Qaud-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.The Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset has a Adreno 330 GPU ,which is a very high performance GPU and will offer a very high gaming and multitasking performance for this device .HTC Butterfly 2  also comes with 16GB and 32GB of inbuilt storage options  expandable via micro SD card upto 128GB.The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with DLNA, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with MHL, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G and 4G LTE.

                HTC Butterfly 2  sports a duo-camera setup as seen on HTC One (M8)  with main sensor of 13-megapixel with dual-LED flash and is capable of 1080p@30fps Full HD Video recording with stereo sound , while front-facing camera is 5-megapixel also supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.The device runs on Android OS, v4.4.2 (KitKat) out of the box and will have 2700mAh battery .The HTC Butterfly 2 is also water-resistant with IPX5 and IPX7 ratings.

                 The Butterfly 2 also comes with dual front stereo speakers and  Audio enhancement technology like HTC's BoomSound technology that is claimed to deliver 25 percent louder output than the HTC One (M8).
