According to the latest leaks the first smartphone from the zenfone 2 series the Asus Zenfone ZE500CL will be launching shortly.
Asus Zenfone ZE500CL will be a Single sim device and sports a 5inch IPS LCD Display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and 293ppi pixel density .It is also expected to sport Gorilla glass 3 protection,which should increase the durability of the device.
Asus Zenfone ZE500CL will be powered by 1.6 GHz Dual core Intel Atom Z2560 processor (with Hyper threading makes it Quad core) coupled with 2GB of RAM.Even if Intel Atom z2560 is Dual core in hardware, it is hyper threaded to appear as quad core for the os with performance equivalent to a quad core processor,it sports a PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU which delivers a very good gaming performance for the device. It also comes with 16GB internal memory which is expandable via micro SD card upto 64GB.The connectivity options include Bluetooth 4.0 ,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB , GPRS/ EDGE ,3G & 4G LTE
