Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 sports a 5inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and has a pixel density of 293ppi. Th display seemed very bright and crisp,with no pixelation and had great viewing angles .The display has a colour depth of 16M colours which makes it extremely vibrant .The colour reproduction was also accurate, Overall i would say the the IPS LCD display on this device was good .

Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 is a Dual sim mid range device from micromax,priced at about Rs.13,300 in retail outlets(Check the price at Flipkart,Snapdeal,Amazon).Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 sports a 5 inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels .The design of the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 looks very similar to the first generation, Micromax canvas Nitro A310.
Talking about the key placements of the device micromax has provided 3 capacitive buttons on the front panel(backlit),the lock/unlock key is provided on the right hand of the device while the and volume rockers are placed on the left had side .The sim1 & sim2 and sdcard slots are provided under the back cover . The 3.5mm audio slot is provide at the top while the USB port is placed on the bottom.The back panel is provided a leather finish which will resist fingerprint.The device also comes with removable 2500mAh battery.

Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 sports a 13MP primary camera and 5MP front facing shooter.The 13MP primary camera supports Autofocus,Touch focus,HDR,Smile detection,Face detection, Voice control,Gesture recognition and can take pictures at a maximum resolution of 3120 x 4160 pixels,and supports video recording in 1080p,while the 5MP secondary camera is fixed focus but supports face detection,voice capture,Gesture and can record videos at 480p .The primary camera of the Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 also support support simultanious image and video recording.
We have tested the response of the primary camera and found it very responsive ,there is no delay in capturing the image , the images were well focused and had very good colour reproduction and seemed really good in deatails.Micromax has also provided zero shutter lag mode in which the device will capture images almost instantly with little sacrifice in focusing.

Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 comes with 1.7 GHz Octa-core Mediatek MT6592 coupled with 2GB of RAM.Mediatek MT6592 sports a Mali 450MP2 GPU which delivers good gaming performance for the device.In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 60.6fps which is a great score and shows the gaming performance of the device will be buttery smooth.When it comes to antutu Benchmark the device scored 25634 in the Antutu v4.5, which is a good score for a mid range device.
Micromax Canvas Nitro A311 has 16GB of internal storage out of which approx 12.97GB is user available,which is allocated as phone memory with no other partition( unified) ,the user will get 12.97GB for installation of apps.In case of RAM out of 2GB, 834MB is user available which is good to have but it is suspicious that out of 2GB of RAM 1.1GB is used by the OS ,but it might be due to the customisations and the preinstalled apps. The device also sports a micro SD card slot which can support a maximum of 32GB.Micromax has only provided 3 sensors in this device ,the Accelerometer, Light, Proximity sensors which is little disappointing for the price.
Micromax has provided customized version of Android 4.4.2 KitKat for this device.The user interface of the device include feature like Quick look,Gesture support but the most of the UI is stock android.The UI also provides option to install and move apps to memory card and have unified memory architecture.
