LG Spirit with 4.7inch Curved Display,Hands on Review,Benchmark,Unboxing,Pros & Cons

LG Spirit is a Dual sim mid range device from LG ,priced at about Rs.14,000 in retail outlets in India. The most important feature of this device is that,It has a slightly curved display which makes it truly stand out from other smartphones in this price range.Because of the curved display the device felt much more ergonomic and offered better grip and feel while  handling.

DESIGN

LG Spirit is a 4.7inch display device with 133.3 x 66.1 x 10 mm dimensions and weighs 124.4g .As i already pointed out it has a slightly curved display which felt much more ergonomic and offered better grip & feel while  handling the device.  LG has also provided Gorilla Glass 3 protection which will surely help improve the durability and the brushed metallic at the back panel give a very premium feel to the device.

Talking about the key placements of the device LG has provided all the hard keys (volume rockers & lock button) on back panel of this device which leaves the sides completely black without any hard key. The  3.5mm audio slot and the noise cancellation mic is provide at the top while the USB port are placed at bottom.

Under the back cover the device sports two micro sim slots and a microSD card slot which can support upto 32GB sdcard.LG Spirit also comes with removable 2100mAh battery which is great for a 4.7inch, Quad core  device.

DISPLAY

LG Spirit sports a 4.7inch HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of  720x1280 pixels which gives a very crisp display with no visible pixelation. The display also comes with In-cell touch technology which embeds the touch panels inside the display, thus minimizing the air gap and providing extreme viewing angles. There were no alterations in the contrast levels or the colour saturation of the display hence the images seems quite natural. The display also has a colour depth of 16M colours which makes it extremely vibrant.Overall i must say i am very satisfied with the display quality of the device and it is definitely one of the main attractive feature of the LG Spirit.

LG Spirit sports a 8MP primary camera with LED flash and 1MP front facing shooter. The 8MP primary camera supports Autofocus,Touch focus & voice capture. It can take pictures at a maximum resolution of 3264 x 2448 pixels,and supports video recording in 1080p with simultaneous image capturing. The 1MP secondary camera support touch focus and supports features like voice capture, mirror effect and can record videos at 720p .

In our test the primary camera was very responsive with very fast focusing and zero shutter lag which makes it a very good camera in 8MP class .But the front camera performance  was not that great, the images were little noisy and it was hard to get a well focused image out of it.
