OppR7 has been making round on the internet with several leaks and has definitely caught some attention from the tech media.But now Oppo has released some official pictures of the new smartphone .It seems Opp R7 won’t bring an edge-to-edge display like the rumors suggested ,instead it will have 2.5D glass applied on the top of the screen which will offer an in-depth perception, making the animations look like in 3D.Oppo also stated that the phone pictured above is just a prototype, so we might see some changes once the real one is out.
The images revealed today suggest that the device will be extremely thin only 4.8mm and might have a fingerprint scanner which will be hidden in the home button placed just below the display.But it should be noted that this feature didn’t showed up in those live images and videos with the phone,which is suspicious and raise some questions about the veracity of these renders.
According to the rumors,the Oppo R7 will boast a 4.7-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution,and 2.5D glass bezel-less display .It is expected to be powered by a 64-bit Octa core MediaTek MT6795 chipset with probably 3GB of RAM.It is also expected to sport a 20.7MP primary camera and will have only 2000mAh battery because of it thin frame work.
