As the name suggest Asus Zenfone Selfie is a selfie focused variant of very successful Zefone 2 series from Asus with 13MP front facing camera and Dual Led Dual tone flash which can be said as the biggest marketing point of the device .
In terms of design Asus Zenfone Selfie follows same design algorithm of the Zenfone 2 series with dimension of 156.5 x 77.2 x 10.8 mm and weighs 170g. It also feature Corning Gorilla Glass 4 which will ensure better durability and scratch resistance.
Talking about the key placements on the front panel of Zenfone selfie houses 13MP fixed focus front camera with Dual LED Dual flash and earpiece on top whereas the 3 capacitive buttons(not backlit) at the bottom. Both left and right had sides of the device is free form any buttons or port which makes it ultraslim at the edges. The 3.5mm audio slot,noise cancellation mic and the lock/unlock is placed at the top panel while the USB 2.0 port and the voice reception mic are placed at the bottom.
The back panel is provided a kind of matte finish which will resist finger print and hoses 13MP secondary camera with laser auto focus, Dual Tone Dual LED flash ,volume rockers and a speaker grill at the bottom. Under the back cover we could find two sim card slots both can support 4G connectivity and a microSD card slot will support upto 64GB.

Asus Zenfone Selfie sports a 13MP primary as well as secondary camera both with Dual tone Dual LED flash and Laser Auto focus(primary). The 13MP primary camera supports Autofocus,Touch focus,Face detection and can take pictures at a maximum resolution of 4128 x 3096 pixels. Both cameras are capable of 1080p video recording while the primary camera supports modes like Auto, Manual, HDR, Beautification, Super Resolution, Low Light, Night, Depth of Field, Effect, GIF Animation, Panorama, Miniature, Time rewind, Smart remove, All smiles , Slow motion and Time lapse. The 13MP Focus secondary camera supports touch focus,face detection and modes like Auto, HDR, Selfie panorama Beautification, Night, Effect, GIF Animation, Slow motion and Time lapse.
The camera was ultra fast in terms of focusing and was precise too.It also had accurate exposure control hence we couldn't get any overexposed images from this camera. The color reproduction were also accurate and the details in image hold good even in zooming.

Asus Zenfone Selfie comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 coupled with 3GB of RAM. Snapdragon 615 is an Octacore cortex A53 core based chipset and sports a Adreno 405 GPU which delivers great gaming performance. In our test with Nenamark 2 the device scored 59fps which is a good score . When it comes to antutu Benchmark ,it scored 38570 in the Antutu v5.7, which is again good score in its class. It was able to play both 720p and 1080p video without any buffering whereas it was not able playback 4K video.
Asus Zenfone Selfie has 32GB of internal storage out of which approx 25GB is user available. In case of RAM out of 3GB, 1.4GB is user available. Zenfone Selfie also support sports a micro SD card expansion upto 64GB. Asus has provided basic sensors like Accelarometer,Proximity,light,magnetic(e-compass),gyrosensor,Rotation vector, Game rotation sensor, and many more.
