Xiaomi fans have been waiting for the next flagship Mi 5 for more than an year now and today a mysterious teaser appeared in Weibo which suggest the announcement of a new device will be held on November 11 at midnight,so this could be the much awaited Mi 5.
According to the rumors Mi 5 will sport a 5.7 inch Quad HD display,Snapdragon 820 chipset , 4 GB of RAM ,16/32GB internal memory ,16 megapixel primary camera, 8 megapixel shooter fingerprint scanner and battery at 3030 mAh. There are rumours that Mi 5 will be the first smartphone to implement the sense ID technology,which employs an Ultrasonic scanner which creates 3D-fingerprint card with all the micro cracks and tiny flaws that increase the accuracy of recognition.
Qualcomm also claims that wet and dirty hands do not become a hindrance for the sensor. Another highlight of this technology is that detection can be carried out through the surface (glass, plastic, metal), which eliminates the need for a dedicated sensor zone on the front or back surface. Fortunately,there is very little time until November 11, so soon this mystery will be revealed.
