It's just few hours ago, LG has officially released a video teaser regarding it's upcoming flagship smartphones dubbed as LG V40 ThinQ which is expected to unveil on October 4 (here). Now today the smartphone has been spotted on Geekbench, under the model number LGE LM-V405, reconfirming its key specifications, which is said to be a Verizon version of the LG V40.
From the Geekbench listing LG V40 ThinQ has achieved 2425 points in single core score and 8769 points in multi core score. The listing further revealed that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC which is clocked at 1.7 GHz coupled with 6GB RAM and will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It has to be noted that LG has already started Android 9 Pie update to its older handsets, but US carriers has a bad reputation with belated Android updates as the sheer testing of a new version takes months to complete, especially on Verizon, so it is speculated that the upcoming V40 would have an Android 9 Pie update later.
Recently leaked specs sheet revealed that the LG V40 ThinQ will feature a 6.4-inch display
with Quad HD+ resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels and device may arrive with two internal storage options like 64 GB / 128 GB. The LG V40 ThinQ is expected to include dual front camera with 8-megapixels and 5-megapixels sensors, while the triple camera setup on the rear panel would feature 16-megapixel sensor, 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. Recently the company has also revealed that the LG V40 ThinQ will be available in three colors options like Carmine Red, Moroccan Blue, and Platinum Gray.
