This morning we reported about 3D CAD renders of the upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 6T from OnePlus which is expected to go official on October 17th in India (here). Now a live image of a battery under the model number BLP685 was surfing around the internet for a while, and the primary rumors has suggested that it could be for the OnePlus 6T.
From the live images the alleged OnePlus 6T battery seems to be having a capacity of 3700mAh which seems to be quite impressive when compared with OnePlus 6 that has a 3300mAh battery and there could be a significant upgrade in battery life. The bigger battery will also mean that the smartphone takes a little longer to get fully charged. The new 3,700 mAh battery is a very respectable number, but it is not a flagship-killer in terms of battery capacity since Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 is packed with a 4,000 mAh, while the upcoming Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to have a 4,200 mAh battery.
Recent
rumors has suggested that OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.41-inch Super
AMOLED display and it would be powered by Snapdragon 845SoC coupled with
8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone may have dual
rear camera setup with 12MP primary sensor that has a variable aperture of f/1.5-f/2.4 while there will be a 20MP secondary sensor, on the front it is expected to have a 25MP AI camera for selfies. The company has already confirmed that they will ditch the 3.5mm audio jack on the OnePlus 6T, this year instead arrive with a Type C port.
