Yesterday we reported about the leaked invitation which revealed that OnePlus will launch its upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 6T on October 17th in India (here). Now today the popular leakster @OnLeaks has published a 360-degree renders of the OnePlus 6T which is based on the CAD drawing from the firm, revealing the entire design in full glory.
From the renders new OnePlus 6T seems to be having a tall display with waterdrop notch and slightly slimmer bottom bezels. Unlike the wider notch on the OnePlus 6 the smaller waterdrop notch on the OnePlus 6T seems to be big enough to accommodate the front-facing camera and proximity sensor, while the ear piece is placed on the very edge of the frame, however, there will be no LED notification light. Recent reports revealed that the smartphone will support an in display fingerprint scanner and the company will ditch the rear fingerprint scanner, which appears to be true on this new renders.
On the rear the OnePlus 6T seems very much similar to the OnePlus 6, recall early there were reports that the new smartphone will feature a triple-camera layout, but recent leaks revealed that the company has no plans to introduce a triple camera set up this year, and now its confirms from the renders the rear panel of the OnePlus 6T will have vertically aligned dual-camera which is accompanied by LED flash. The renders also confirm the lack of a 3.5mm headphone jack and it clearly shows the presence of the USB Type-C port which is placed on the bottom panel with dual speakers on either side. The volume rockers are placed on the left while the power button and the Alert Slider are placed on the right hand side.
Recent rumors has suggested that OnePlus 6T will feature a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display and it would be powered by Snapdragon 845SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The smartphone may have dual rear camera setup with 12MP primary sensor that has a variable aperture of f/1.5-f/2.4 while there will be a 20MP secondary sensor, on the front it is expected to have a 25MP AI camera for selfies.
