This morning we reported that Huawei will introduce a gaming smartphone dubbed Mate 20X along with the Mate 20 series smartphones and there will be no Huawei Mate 20 Porsche Design this year (here). Now the popular leakster Roland Quandt has shared a couple of silicon case images for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and it reveals that the device nay not arrive with a 3.5mm audio jack.
The leaked silicon case for the Mate 20 Pro seems to be having two cutouts at the top edge, but these cutouts belong to the IR blaster and a mic. Thus the top panel of the device does not feature a 3.5mm audio jack and at the bottom we can see large cutouts for USB Type C port and speaker grills. There is a large square-shaped cutout on backside of the silicon case which is for the new triple camera module but there is no cutout for fingerprint scanner, which again reconfirms the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner.
Recent rumors revealed that the Mate 20 Pro will be featured with a notched display design which will houses an advanced 3D facial technology. The device will be powered by the latest the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset and recently released AnTuTu listing shows the presence of 6 GB RAM+128 GB internal storage, while the smartphone is also expected to arrive with a 8 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage variant. The Mate 20 Pro will pack a 4,200mAh battery and is expected to be priced around $1,100 US dollar.
