Yesterday we reported about the leaked screen protector of Xiaomi's upcoming Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 which shows extremely narrow bezels and high screen-to-body ratio (here). Now today, the smartphone has been spotted on 3C certification (Chinese authority) under three model number M1810E5A, M1810E5E, M1810E5T and M1810E5EC indicating an imminent launch.
The 3C certification has revealed that there will be three variants of Mi MIX 3 and it also shows that the device will carry support for 12V / 1.5A charging. Sadly, the 3C certification does not revealed any information regarding the specs of the three devices, but we can expect the smartphone to soon appear on TENAA revealing full specs and images. Recent rumors suggest that the Mi MIX 3 will feature a slider mechanism that will house front selfie camera, an earpiece, 3D structured light module for 3D face unlock and other sensor.
Previous reports revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with two variants of RAM such as 6GB and 8GB. The smartphone is also reported to have a dedicated AI assistant button for accessing the Xiao AI voice assistant and may arrive with in-display fingerprint sensor. The Mi MIX 3 is speculated to feature a dual rear camera with a 20MP main sensor that will also support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), while there is no info about the secondary sensor. Recently leaked alleged advertising material has suggested that the Mi MIX 3 will be launched on 15th October.
