At the end of 2018 IFA event in Berlin Honor’s CEO has revealed that the company is working on a smartphone dubbed Honor Magic 2 with a bezel less design and slider mechanism, in order to compete with Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex smartphones (here). Now today the Chinese company has released a teaser poster revealing the official launch of Honor Magic 2 at an event scheduled on October 31st in Beijing, China.
After releasing the launch poster Honor president Mr. Zhao George has shared some features of Magic 2 on Weibo which confirms the early rumors . According to the Honor president, the Honor Magic 2 flagship will feature a display with 100% screen-to-body ratio, powered by a Kirin 980 processor and will support 40W super-fast charging technology. The Weibo post also asks its fans to guess other magic black technology that is expected to feature in the upcoming Honor Magic 2.
There are rumors the Honor Magic 2 may arrive with a huge battery that contains graphene which will allow it to function properly at high temperatures and also increases the battery life by 100% when compared with the traditional Li-ion batteries. Another rumor has also suggested that the Honor Magic 2 will have a graphene heat-pipe for cooling instead of copper or carbon fiber. Recent reports has confirmed that Honor Magic 2 will feature an AMOLED display with in-display fingerprint scanner.
