Next week Huawei will launch it's upcoming flagship smartphones Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro in London and recently there were numerous leaks regarding these devices which revealed its features and specifications. Now today the Mate 20 Pro has been spotted on benchmarking platform AnTuTu under the model number of LYA-L29 which revealed its overall performance.
As we know already the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be powered by the latest the 7nm Kirin 980 chipset and the AnTuTu listing shows the performance scores of the 6 GB RAM+128 GB internal storage variant of the Mate 20 Pro. From the listing the device has scored 115296, 112516, 69456, 16293 points in CPU, GPU, UX, Memory, respectively, and the smartphone has managed to achieve a total score of 313561 points. The Kirin 980 seems to outperform if we compare it with the Snapdragon 845 SoC that has managed to score around 290k on AnTuTu. While the Mate 20 Pro seems to lag a bit behind the Apple iPhone Xs Max that has recorded a total score of 372106 points which is powered by 7nm Apple A12 chipset.
Recent rumors revealed that the Mate 20 Pro will be featured with a notched display design that has an advanced 3D facial technology and in-display fingerprint scanner. The Mate 20 Pro is expected to arrive with multiple variants in RAM and internal storage options such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB , 6 GB RAM + 128 GB / 256 GB / 512 GB and 8 GB RAM + 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB. A previous report has revealed that the 128 GB internal storage variant of the smartphone is expected to be priced around $1,100, but it does not revealed whether the pricing belongs to 4 GB or 6 GB RAM edition.
