It's merely hours left for the official unveiling of the Google's upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL smartphones and recently the company has decided to launch it in Japan. Now today Engadget has reported that Google Pixel 3 series smartphones has been selling in a shop in Hong Kong and they have actually obtained a Pixel 3 XL unit.
According to the report they have brought the Pixel 3XL from Hong Kong mobile shop WahPhone Digital with a price tag of HK$15,880 which is approximately around $2,030 US dollar, and they also state the device is not yet released. The device in its retail box contains accessories such as a pair of USB-C earphones, a USB-C-to-3.5mm dongle, a USB-C-to-USB-C cable, a USB-C-to-USB-A dongle and an 18W USB-C power adapter. The Pixel 3 XL seems to be in black color option which is having a model number G013C. Unfortunately the box doesn't provide much information regarding it's specs, but it mentioned that the device will feature a 6.3-inch display and 128GB internal storage.
Meanwhile the Engadget has also conducted a CPU-Z run and revealed that the smartphone will pack a 3732mAh battery which seems a 212mAh increase from the 3520mAh battery present in the Pixel 2 XL, and the CPU-Z also confirms that the device will be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC. Other testing has also revealed that the Pixel 3XL is having a resolution of 1440 x 2960 (an aspect ratio of 18.5:9) and features a 12.2MP rear camera, while there is a dual 8MP front camera for selfies. There is also the Active Edge feature that allow users to activate Google Assistant with a squeeze, and lastly the device will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
