HMD Global is expected to launch two mid-range smartphones dubbed Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus tomorrow, while there has been rumors that the company has planned to unveil these devices in a second event which is scheduled on October 11. Now today the popular leaksters WinFuture has revealed the entire spec regarding the Nokia 7.1 along with couple of press renders.
According to the leakster the Nokia 7.1 will feature a 5.84-inch IPS LCD display with resolution 1080 x 2244 and aspect ratio 19:9, the press render also confirmed the existence of the notch design. It would be powered by snapdragon 636 chipset coupled with multiple variants of RAM and internal storage options like 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and both models will support expandable memory via microSD card. Since the device belongs to Android One smartphone it will run on aging Oreo software out the box .
The camera department of Nokia 7.1 will sport a dual 12MP + 5MP rear sensor with Zeiss optics, while on the front there will be a 8MP camera for selfies. The report further claims that the device will have a glass panel design with aluminum side frame and would have a thickness under 8mm. The Nokia 7.1 will allegedly be unveiled to the European market on October 22 and it will be priced at €349 (~ 404.41 US dollar) for the base 3GB/32GB variant while the 4GB/64GB version will have a price tag of €400 (~ 462.18 US dollar).
