Yesterday we reported that the upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 6T from OnePlus has been listed on the Amazon India website for pre-order booking (here). Now today the company has officially announced the launch date of OnePlus 6T on its official Twitter account and it is scheduled on October 30 in New York at 11 AM EDT and the company will also provide event live-stream on the OnePlus official YouTube channel.
Recall early rumors suggest that the company may unveil OP 6T on October 17 in India, but the new teaser has completely denies it. Those who purchase the launch event tickets would be able to hands on the new OnePlus 6T and meet the OnePlus community members. They will also get exclusive merchandise and get a free pair of OnePlus Bullets Wireless earphones worth $69 US dollar. The ticket for the event are current charged with $20 US dollar while the tickets will cost $30 starting from Wednesday, October 10, and for those who planning to take a special someone with them to the event it will cost at $50.
Recent rumors suggest that OnePlus 6T will feature a slightly larger 6.4-inch display whereas the OP6 has a 6.28-inch display. The device would be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and it will pack a significantly larger 3,700 mAh battery which is 400 mAh more when compared to OnePlus 6. The smartphone is expected to have a dual camera module with a 16MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor at the back, while there will be a 16MP front camera with support for face unlock feature on the front.
