Now today, a new report suggest that OnePlus 6T will be priced a bit higher compared to the other OnePlus flagship and could be sold in more carriers and retail stores.
The upcoming OnePlus 6T is the next big smartphone launch from OnePlus and the company want to grab more attention by introducing the device in retail stores. According to the report the OnePlus 6T will be carried by T-Mobile in the US, and it will also be available on several UK carriers which is expected to be more than ever before. In addition to O2 in the UK, EE and Vodafone will also stock the OnePlus 6T, and some of the largest British retailers like Carphone Warehouse, and even John Lewis, will have it in physical stock, together with tech wholesaler DataSelect.
It has to be noted that OnePlus has a strong reputation in the U.K. and according to the company, they have been named as one of the top four premium smartphone brands. A recent report suggest that OnePlus has sold a million devices OnePlus 6 in 22 days, and the company is speculated to improve on those numbers with the OnePlus 6T. So they are planning to introduce the 6T physically in a retail store along with there rival flagship from Apple, Samsung, Huawei, and aiming to grab more attention. The wider availability and more aggressive promotional campaigns will make the OnePlus to sell the OnePlus 6T at a higher price point and it has also to be noted that the OP6T is having an additional in-display fingerprint scanner which is implemented for the first time in the OnePlus flagship smartphones which could also be sighted as the cause for the expected hike in the price. Recall early the OnePlus One launched at $299 and was an incredible value, while OnePlus 6 started at $529 which was a bit more than its predecessor.
