Samsung CEO Reconfirms it's Foldable Smartphone would be Meaningful and Compelling, While also Promising its Durability

Foldable smartphone is expected to be the next big thing in the smartphone world and as we reported earlier Samsung is expected to release some of the specs regarding its foldable smartphone on November 7th at the Samsung Developer Conference (here). Yesterday Samsung's Mobile President DJ Koh at the Galaxy A9 launch event has clarified a few aspects of the company’s highly anticipated foldable smartphone, and he also proclaimed that the device “has to be really meaningful to our customer.”
According to Koh's revealing, the company expect that the Galaxy F (tentatively named)  won't disappear six or nine months after it’s unveiling in the market, and it is speculated that the company will design the foldable device to create new and compelling use cases, such as seamlessly switching from a tablet mode with advanced multitasking capability to a more portable smartphone. It has to be noted that the construction of such a device should be robust enough to withstand constant fold-in and fold-out action, but Koh has promised that Samsung has already experimented the  Galaxy F  in various scenarios in order to avoid any risk that its Galaxy series have faced several years back, while also promising its global availability across the market.
Recent reports revealed that Samsung may unveil a demo model of its Galaxy F in prospective market to understand the public reaction, and it may happen as early as next month, followed by an actual launch of the foldable device sometime next year at the Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas on January.
