Xiaomi's upcoming Mi MIX 3 has been in rumors and leaks for a while, yesterday Xiaomi's president has hinted that they will soon launch the smartphone probably this month itself (here). Now today, the Chinese company has released an official teaser poster on Weibo which reveals that the Mi Mix 3 will be launch on October 25th at an event in Beijing.
From the teaser image the Mi Mix 3 seems to be having a large notch-less display with extremely narrow bezels and high screen-to-body ratio. We can also see the slider mechanism which may house the front-facing camera, earpiece and other sensors, like what we saw on the OPPO Find X. Xiaomi's Global Spokesperson and Director of Product Management has published two different images of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3, and one of the picture has made clear that the smartphone will be available in four different color options.
Previous reports revealed that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 will feature a 6.4 inch display and would be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor coupled with 6GB / 8GB RAM. The smartphone is also reported to have a dedicated AI assistant button for accessing the Xiao AI voice assistant and may arrive with in-display fingerprint sensor. The Mi Mix 3 is speculated to feature a dual rear camera with a 20MP main sensor that will also support Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), while there is no info about the secondary sensor.
