Earlier this week we have seen the image leaks and specifications of Galaxy Tab S10.5 ,today we gona see the same of the Galaxy Tab S8.4 ,although the official announcement of the new lineup of tablets is scheduled to be on June 12 in New York,but it seems we know most of the Galaxy Tab S lineup details much ahead of official announcement.
Now coming back to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.4 ,the device sports a 8.4 inch QHD AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixel.Under the hood, the device is powered by Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. Exynos 5 Octa 5420 is an indigenous processor from samsung ,which is an octa-core processor (4x Cortex-A7 @ 1.3GHz + 4x Cortex-A15 @ 1.9Ghz)and sports a Mali-T628 MP6 GPU which is capable of handling even high end graphic environment.The chipset also supports a memory bandwidth of 14.9GB/s which will ensure a smooth fluid performance of this device.Samsung has used the same Exynos 5 Octa 5420 processor for the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 which means both these devices will be having similar performance curve.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.4 will be having the latest Android KitKat OS and will be having the diamension of 212.8 x 126.6 x 6.5 mm which is much slimmer, thanks to the AMOLED display used for the device.
We have almost covered the important specs of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8.4 ,hope the Samsung will have some thing under wrap ,and will be able to surprise us on june 12.
