Recently we reported that Huawei's sub brand Honor is working on a smartphone dubbed Honor Magic 2 which is speculated to feature a bezel less design and slider mechanism, in order to compete with Oppo Find X and Vivo Nex smartphones (here). Now today leaked render images of the Honor Magic 2 has appeared on Weibo revealing its back panel with a four camera setup.
From the render images the alleged Honor Magic 2 seems to be having vertically aligned four camera accompanied by LED flash on the top left corner. The rear panel does not seems to be having a fingerprint scanner so it is speculated that the smartphone may feature an in display fingerprint scanner. The render images also showcases the smartphone in two color variants such as a black and twilight gradient. Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy A9 (2018) as the world’s first smartphone with four rear cameras, so there is a possibility that Honor Magic 2 could arrive with a quad rear camera.
Previous reports has revealed that Honor Magic 2 will be equipped with AMOLED display from Samsung and is also speculated to feature 3D facial scanner. It would be powered by a Kirin 980 processor and will pack graphene-based battery with support for 40W fast charging technology. A recently released teaser poster has revealed that the Chinese company will officially launch the Honor Magic 2 at an event scheduled on October 31st in Beijing, China and the smartphone is already available for pre-orders on JD.
