This morning we reported that the OnePlus CEO has confirmed through his Weibo account that the upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 6T will be pre-installed with the Android 9 Pie, along with an upgraded version of OxygenOS UI (here). Now a new report has revealed that the OnePlus 6T will be equipped with Night Mode feature for low-light photography .
According to the report the latest OxygenOS 9.0 is expected to be overlaid on the Android 9 Pie OS and the new Night Mode could be included in the new version of the OxygenOS, also the AI will play a key role in capturing detailed images in dim-light conditions on the OnePlus 6T. This Night Mode could possibly arrive in the OnePlus 6 through OxygenOS 9.0 update in near future and older smartphones from OnePlus may also receive it. Apart from these enhancements to the camera app, the OxygenOS 9.0 will also introduce a new and improved gesture-based navigation system with some big improvements to the UI .
Recent rumors suggest that OnePlus 6T will feature a slightly larger 6.4-inch display with in display fingerprint scanner. The device would be powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB internal storage. It will pack a significantly larger 3,700 mAh battery which is 400 mAh more when compared to OnePlus 6. The smartphone is expected to have a dual camera module with a 16MP primary sensor and a 20MP secondary sensor at the back, while there will be a 16MP front camera with support for face unlock feature on the front. Previous report has revealed that the OnePlus 6T will be launched in India and New York on October 30, while on November 5, it will debut in China. The device is expected to go on sale in India on November 2 and in Europe on November 6.
