Samsung Discribes it's Superior 7nm Chip Production Method & the Benifits it Would Bring

Huawei  and Apple has already released devices with 7nm chipselt, whereas Samsung is reportedly working on  such a processor in order to compete others. Now today Samsung has released a lengthy poster that reveals  the EUV production technology for the second-gen 7nm chipsets and describes all the advantages that it will bring to future smartphone chipsets that are manufactured in its foundries.
According to the poster Samsung will use extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography  for the second-gen 7nm chipsets, and it will help in laying down the minuscule transistors close to each other. The chip produced by this technique will be much easier and also provide better yield with a reduced number of masks needed for production that will make them cheaper to make on average. Moreover, when compared with the 10nm chipsets (Note 9 or iPhone X), the 7nm LPP EUV silicon can be made with a 40% smaller footprint, and either 20% faster, or  50% reduction in power  consumption.
It has to be noted that Semiconductor's high performance and low power characteristics depend on the width of the circuits that are inserted into the chip's limited space and through the EUV tech, it will realize more detailed semiconductor circuit pattern than the existing argon fluoride (ArF) wavelength and reduces complex multi-patterning process, providing both high performance and productivity. Samsung Electronics is gaining recognition with its grand-scale investment in extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology. The EUV technology will accelerate the growth of various revolutionary products such as 5G, Artificial Intelligence and more.

Recently reports suggest that Samsung already started the production of the 7LPP, 7-nanometer (nm) LPP (Low Power Plus) with EUV,  and also the company is working to produce an even thinner process node such as 3nm. As we said earlier Samsung is hugely investing in extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology and the first customers for the new lithography will be Qualcomm with its upcoming 5G modem, while Samsung will eventual unveil Galaxy S10 smartphone with 7nm Exynos chipset.
